Physical Mediumship
Physical mediumship requires validation. Someone other than the medium must validate that the spirit coming through is their departed loved one. This can be distinguished by the way they talk, the rate of the speech, and the character and personality of the person must come through. With physical phenomena, all sitters must be aware of it. Physical phenomena can be apports (physical objects appearing from nowhere), it can be a direct voice channeled through a medium, but it must have validation in order for it to be evidential. It has to be something that can be proven. It can be something that no one present knows at the time, but if you research it you can find out about it. Spirituality is natural. The religious preference of the sitter is not important. The love and relationship of the spirit to the sitter is what matters. In physical circle groups, cohesiveness and commitment to Spirit are essential. Even if only one person in the group develops, all are blessed by the experience. The séance room is a laboratory for both the mediums and Spirit, and must always be treated as such. To be a sitter and receive messages from Spirit is an honor and needed for physical phenomena to occur. We are all servants of Spirit. Spirit has the capability to do anything, as long as we allow and accept. True evidential mediumship occurs when the sitter does not understand the message at the time, but later finds the meaning. Trance is a form a physical mediumship and you can give evidential proof of a concise message. Sid Patrick
